So, here's my superhero, Adipose, and her villainous alter-ego, Crista.

While Adipose harnesses her power over adipose tissue to expand herself, immobilize her enemies, and create her legions of fatlings, her villainess counterpart, Crista, preys on her victims' insecurities by exaggerating in their minds their physical quirks, and offering them a chance to make themselves beautiful if they will submit to her.

Crista is a shapeshifter, and can take on the form her victims most desire, showing them how they could look if they follow her. She is a devout follower of Black Rose, :iconarcionmez:'s villainess, and her left-hand lieutenant. (The right-hand lieutenant being The Reaper) She is also in an alternate dimension from that of Adipose, so they would probably never meet. (Unless by a fluke from :iconvrtrahex:'s hero, whose power is over dimensional rifts)

Crista's backstory is this: She was a beautiful model before her transformation, but was never satisfied with her appearance. She went under the knife for several cosmetic procedures, and one night on the operating table, she flatlined. Black Rose sent the Reaper to save and recruit her, and Crista ended up in a stage of permanent stasis -- she will never age. Her dubious beauty will last forever.

Crista's name comes from Pavo Cristatus, the scientific name for the peacock. I chose it because she is a symbol of vanity.

Adipose and Crista, being alternate versions of each other, are both opposing forces, and yet are unable to have any effect on the other. While Crista cannot use her insecurity powers over Adipose (she could call her too fat, too thin, too flat-chested, too huge-assed, and Adipose could fix it in an instant), Adipose's powers are useless over Crista as well, seeing as any weight Adipose adds Crista can simply shapeshift away.

Their outfits are also opposites: While Adipose uses horizontal stripes, to exaggerate her weight gain, Crista wears vertical stripes, to make her appear even taller and thinner.
